WHY DOGS GONE WILD?
Dogs Gone Wilds gives dogs the opportunity to run, sniff and play in nature. Providing them with variety, changing terrain, and controlled freedom that they wouldn't get on a standard walk. During pack walks the goal is always to keep each dog active and engaged, while keeping them safe and well-managed.
Long walks: Each walk is 90 minutes long, so that the dogs get quality excercise in their day.
Micro packs: Groups can be as small as 2 and will never exceed 6 dogs at a time. Small packs means every dog gets attention and allows the flexibility to adapt to each dog's needs.
Pick up & drop off: Convenient door-to-door service within the pick-up zone.
Well equipped: We always bring plenty of water, treats galore and toys to keep all dogs happy and active.
Vetted dogs: Dogs in the pack must have their core vaccines up to date, be desexed and be confortable in a group setting so the group stays safe, social, and fun.
First aid certified: We have the necessary pet first aid certifications, and we bring a full first aid kit on every pack walk.
Locations change daily based on the group needs that day. Each walk can be a mix of off-leash and on-leash dogs, and on hot days we may choose shaded trails or spend extra time at the dog beach. What stays the same is the 90-minute session and the goal: plenty of exercise, engagement, and time outside.
We bring well-matched, small groups of dogs to wide open spaces and forest trails so they can let loose, run, sniff and play with eachother in a natural environment.
A more structured walk on Kelowna's amazing trails. This is great for dogs who need to spend their energy but aren't ready for off-leashing.
Kelowna summers can be a scorcher. On those mid-summer days, when its too hot for the trails, we head to the dog beach for some swimming, fetching and play time.
TESTIMONIALS
"Julie is fantastic with dogs, and I completely trust her with mine. She has taken care of my dog several times and always makes sure she gets plenty of exercise, enrichment, and attention. What I appreciate most is how thoughtful she is . She asked about the exact commands we use so my dog receives consistent training, and she was very careful from the beginning to understand my dog’s allergies and what treats were safe. It’s clear she truly cares about the dogs she works with. My dog absolutely loves her and is always excited to see her. I highly recommend Julie to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker."
" Julie is incredible with dogs, to the point that I'm pretty sure my Duck Toller, Jakers, likes her more than us; not joking. Highly recommend her services! And so does Jakers, if his full body, bum, and tail wag is anything to go by whenever she shows up! :) "
