Before joining the pack, we make sure every dog is a good fit for the trails and for the group. Please be sure that your dog fits the following criteria before reaching out. If you're unsure, feel free to give us a call to discuss the possibility :)
Socialized: All dogs must be comfortable in a group setting and unreactive towards other dogs. Your dog doesnt need to be the social butterfly, but they
Immunized: All dogs must be up to date with core vaccines including Rabies and DHPP. Bordetella is recommended.
Sterilized: all dogs joining the pack must be desexed to avoid any...complications.
Car ready: Your dog must be comfortable in a vehicle, and sharing an enclosed space with other dogs.
Trail ready: Your dog must be physically able to handle a 90 minute hike.
Sign up online to run through a quick checklist and see if your dog is a good fit for pack walks or nature hikes. If it’s a match, we’ll book a meet and greet.
We meet at a nearby park with Julie and her dog Ruby. This gives us a chance to get to know your dog, and make sure they are comfortable in a social setting.
We need a few details about your dog! You'll fill out an enrollement form and sign a basic waver agreement.
Your dog is now ready to embark on Dogs Gone Wild adventures! Book walks anytime and we’ll take care of the rest.
Ruby is a social, easygoing dog who gets along with pretty much everyone. She’s playful, a bit goofy, and great at helping new dogs feel comfortable. Most dogs take to her quickly, which makes her a perfect introduction to the pack.
